King of Spirit: Barong 

Bali is a multi-cultural place in Indonesia that still hold on their culture. With their strong cultural background the Balinese do a lot of Hindu celebration, and arts. This collection aims to promote the Balinese society and culture by taking Barong the king of spirit in Bali Hinduism, and other local traditions such as the dance, architecture and craft.

 

The colors are inspired by the Barong performance and using gingham pattern to represent the Balinese sacred fabric: Poleng. Silhouette are taken by analysing the the Barong costumes.
